Donate with Direct Debit

The Direct Debit Guarantee is a customer protection scheme provided by banks and building societies that ensures customers are entitled to a full and immediate refund from their bank if a Direct Debit is paid in error.

Gift Aid

For every £1 of your donation, we can claim an extra 25p from the inland revenue, helping your money go further. For example, if you donate £35, it is worth £43.75 to us!

You can fill in this Gift Aid declaration whichever payment method you are using. You must have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year.

The Originator’s Identification Number and our contact details Will be emailed once we process the donation. You can contact us by email web@bcusg.org

  • This Guarantee is offered by all Banks and Building Societies that take part in the Direct Debit Scheme.
  • The efficiency and security of the Scheme is monitored and protected by your own Bank and Building Society.
  • If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change Bath Cancer Unit Support Group will notify you 20 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
  • If an error is made by the The Bath Cancer Unit Support Group or your Bank or Building Society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your Bank or Building Society. Please also send or email a copy of your letter to us.

Banks and Building Societies may not accept Direct Debit instructions for some types of account

  • You donation by direct debit will be processed by Stripe & Fundraise Up. They process our online and offline direct debit payments.
  • You donation by direct debit will show both Stripe & BCUSG on your bank statement.
