11 year old Lucas Wint, from Westbury, entered the 2020 Bowerhill Bomber 5K race for the second year running and raised an amazing £592.50 for our local Cancer Unit.

Lucas wanted to raise funds for BCUSG in memory of his best friend's Grandmother who sadly lost her battle with Cancer in September 2019.

Despite the wet and windy conditions, 120 runners took part in the annual winter race on Sunday 2nd February, with the course taking the entrants along country lanes and across very muddy fields.  Lucas took just 23 minutes and 37 seconds to finish the 5K route - coming 5th overall and 1st in his age category.
