Radioisotope Calibrator
Before injecting the patient with the radioactive material, we have to make sure that it is the right activity (too little and the image might be poor quality, too high and we are giving an additional radiation dose for no benefit.
The Calibrator is the device we use to check we have the right activity before injecting the patient.
