Lifter
The radioactive material we use in PETCT is delivered in a leaded container, approximately 15kg in mass. To avoid staff getting back problems the lifter (which is operated by a simple hand controller) is used to manoeuvre the leaded container into the required space in the laminar flow cabinet.
