Hand & Foot Monitor
When dealing with radioactive liquid there is always risk of a spill, sometimes referred to as contamination.
If there has been an unknown spill, we wouldn’t want the contamination to be spread, so the Hand & Foot Monitor is used to simultaneously check both hands and feet for contamination before staff leave the PETCT suite or to check individuals on the rare occasion that a spill has occurred.
